For the right candidates, this procedure may be considered a kind of non-surgical face lift. It works in two ways: firstly, through subtle filling of indentations, flattened or sunken facial areas caused by loss of face fat from ageing; and secondly, by contouring and smoothing areas such as the jaw to reduce the look of jowls.
